Avtech O.E for another year participates in the 30th Agrotica. From 1 to 4 February 2024, one of the largest events for the agricultural sector in Southeast Europe will take place at the Thessaloniki International Fairgrounds: The International Fair for Agricultural Machinery, Equipment and Supplies “Agrotica“.

PRECISION AGRICULTURE

Precision Agriculture is a new field management method, in which inputs (pesticides, fertilizers, seed, irrigation water) and cultivation practices are applied according to soil and crop needs, as they vary in area and in time (WhelanandMcBratney, 2000).

Drones

Drones are used in precision farming applications to analyze arable land, monitor crop yield and fruit growth, disperse seeds and carry out aerial spraying.

Using drones for spraying combined with precision agriculture helps the farmer to have much better results compared to conventional spraying methods because it include a whole process that helps him monitor the field and intervene immediately, if necessary.

STRUCTURED WIRING

What is structured cabling? A structured cabling installation consists of a set of cables and materials (sockets, distributors, etc.) that carry out the transmission of voice and data in a building. Structured cabling facilities are “open” architecture, using standard materials and topology in accordance with international standards for design and installation. For many years the wiring that served the data transmission needs was done separately from those of the wiring for voice transmission.

WIRELESS NETWORK

The popularity of wireless LANs is a testament primarily to their convenience, cost efficiency, and ease of integration with other networks and network components. The majority of computers sold to consumers today come equipped with all necessary wireless LAN technology.
